Job Title – Traffic Engineer
Location – Hybrid(NYC)
Position – 6 to 12 Month contract
Rate – $Open/hr
a. Minimum five (5) years of traffic engineering experience with a focus on
traffic engineering design.
b. Traffic Engineering experience in the design of roadways, roadway closures,
guide signs, pavement markings, intersections, toll plazas, pedestrian
elements and bicycle accommodations.
c. Understanding of traffic engineering standards and guidelines such as the
Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Highway Capacity
Manual (HCM), AASHTO Green Book, and AASHTO Roadside Design
Guide
d. Experience with design software of AutoCAD, and AutoTurn
e. Valid driver’s license
f. Experience with Port Authority Design Standards and Processes, Traffic
Standard Details, Specifications, Cost Estimating, and PA Policy &
Procedures is desired.
g. Must be able to report to 4WTC at the start and for the duration of this
project.
