Job description

AMERI-CANS is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician at their Summerville, SC. This is a critical role supporting the day-to-day execution of a rapidly growing portable sanitation company that takes pride in doing things the right way and executing the impossible.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Upkeep of tools/equipment
• Deploy on repair/maintenance calls
• Perform installs

Requirements:

• Small engine repair/general mechanic skills
• Welding skills
• Plumbing skills
• Electrical skills AC/DC
• Carpentry skills
• Equipment operation to include skid steer, forklift, large trucks (Non CDL) (Standard shift)
• Basic knowledge of water pumps, hoses, fittings
• Preventative automotive Maintenance and diagnostics
• Adherence to a background check
• Must have authorization to work in the United States of America. Some of the job sites that we support require U.S. American citizenship and a clean criminal history in order to access their sites.

Abilities: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are the representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; move fingers and hands, ability to stoop, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and crouch. Perform the essential duties with minimal or no supervision. Lift and carry up to 50lbs and drag 185lbs.
