Job description
AMERI-CANS is looking to hire a full-time Custodial Service Technician to join our team in Manassas Park, VA. This vital role offers the opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding portable sanitation company that takes pride in doing things the right way and achieving the extraordinary. Owned by Marine Corps veterans, our team of technicians, operations, and maintenance staff uphold the highest standards of performance, integrity, and customer service. In this position, you'll be servicing, cleaning, and stocking portable toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand-wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers as needed. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Service, clean and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand-wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
- Vacuum pump, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer site.
- Stock/replenish paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and refill water holding tanks.
- Maintain yard organization and gear turnover, ensuring equipment and facilities are clean, orderly, and ready for deployment.
- Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
- Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
- Interacting with customers in a professional
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Adherence to a background check.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States of America. Some of the job sites that we support require U.S. American citizenship and a clean criminal history in order to access their sites.
Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; move fingers and hands, ability to stoop, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and crouch. Perform the essential duties with minimal or no supervision. Lift and carry up to 50lbs and drag 185lbs.
