Business Program Manager - Corporate Platforms

The Corporate Platforms and Initiatives group at Two Sigma works with functional groups to design and implement scalable business processes and technology solutions to support the firm’s growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced business analyst / program manager who is passionate about taking our Post-Trade platform to the next level of excellence. The candidate should possess exceptional communication skills in order to work with internal constituents on projects focusing on Operations, Financing, Treasury and Risk. You Will Take On The Following Responsibilities

• Business analysis – conducting current state assessments, developing future state processes, syndicating approaches with engineering and functional teams, documenting business requirements, converting requirements to functional specifications for engineering teams, coordinating testing, and being responsible for ensuring that business objectives are achieved.
• Project management – managing partners with diverse agendas, driving meetings, developing consensus, running project schedules, and applying standard processes of project management.
• Program management – managing the project portfolio, helping drive prioritization, support development of business and technical architecture, developing relationships with engineering and functional teams across Two Sigma, and helping in bidirectional translation between groups.
  
  

This role interfaces across multiple business groups including; investment mgmt, trading, business development and post trade functions as well as their respective engineering teams and requires both “big-picture” thinking and “in-the-weeds” analysis/delivery skills. Two Sigma operates globally and given our footprint, this role may also require the individual to travel based on functional/project needs.

You Must Possess The Following Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in the full lifecycle of business analysis/project management – designing, developing and implementing business processes automation/re-engineering and supporting implementation of technology solutions
• Familiar with trade settlement and processing across asset classes and would have worked at post-trade processing groups at buy-side finance firms (e.g., hedge funds, asset management firms, consulting firms), prime brokers, or in FinTech firms focusing on post-trade processing
• Experience producing comprehensive documentation (e.g., functional requirements, meeting notes, project trackers etc.) focused on clarity, organization, and timely delivery
• Ability to synthesize information and communicate effectively verbally and in writing across all the different levels of the organization
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, is self-motivated, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Proficiency in using office suite apps (MS and Google) and collaboration tools (e.g., wiki, JIRA) to best capture and share key information efficiently and effectively

The base pay for this role will be between $150,000 and $225,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
