Paraprofessionals play a critical role in the success of students with Individualized Education Plans. Paraprofessionals provide consistent support, reinforce instructional goals, and foster inclusive learning environments to meet each student’s unique needs.
Qualified candidates should:
- Have a high school diploma.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Maintain high expectations for students.
- Model flexibility and a willingness to take initiative.
- Be open to collaboration with fellow paraprofessionals and teachers.
- Be comfortable assisting with the personal care needs of students and supporting students with complex learning needs.
