Staff Accountant

Two Rivers Enterprises (TRE) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a manufacturing environment and develop their accounting skills.

Working closely with company leadership and operations teams, you'll gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, inventory accounting, cost analysis, month-end close activities, and process improvement initiatives. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to grow their career with an expanding organization.

What You'll Do

• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support inventory accounting and reconciliation activities.
• Assist with cost accounting functions, including manufacturing cost analysis and variance reporting.
• Help maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and related reporting.
• Partner with operations, purchasing, and production teams to support accurate financial information.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects.
• Prepare sales and use tax filings and other regulatory reports.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• CPA certification or CPA-track candidate.
