What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and job cost records
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support financial reporting related to project costs and profitability
- Review job cost accuracy and partner with project managers on corrections
- Support job cost forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis
- Assist with AIA billing, progress billing, and retainage tracking
- Monitor contract values, change orders, and budget updates
- Support compliance with prevailing wage and contract requirements
- Provide financial data to support project and leadership decisions
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience (construction industry a plus)
- CPA designation preferred
- Understanding of job costing and project-based accounting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in accounting software Excel
