Responsibilities
- Create awareness (increase new customers and sales) through grassroots community marketing, customer referrals, and social media
- Initiate and develop relationships with apartment/condo/senior communities, local realtors, mortgage agencies, and other potential customers; set up regular visit schedules for these customers
- Manage social media presence and use established digital marketing programs to increase brand visibility
- Coordinate and attend networking events and trade shows
- Assess marketing opportunities and target markets, including B2B
- Develop, implement and review marketing plan; track marketing plan goals
- Develop print materials/advertisements
- Evaluate, document and coordinate all donation requests and community involvement; document resulting PR
- Coordinate bi-annual competitor mystery shop
- Meet monthly with management to discuss weekly victories and opportunities
- Communicate marketing initiatives and information to staff; train staff on effective use of marketing materials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience consistently and successfully implementing marketing and/or sales systems, processes and plans
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the marketing field including: social media, grassroots, online advertising, brand reputation management and traditional advertising channels
- Friendly, professional personality
- Highly creative and motivated
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities; proven ability to coach and develop sales representatives
- Ability to work independently
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and persuasive in sales situations
- Excellent organizational skills; must be able to multi-task under time constraints
- Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook
