What You'll Do
- Support daily move team dispatch, including coordinating employee scheduling and truck assignments.
- Lead by example in communication, performance, attitude, attendance, and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
- Complete daily performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with coordinating and directing fleet maintenance and equipment inventory.
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
- Assists with employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs.
- Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 1 year of business, management, or other relevant experience is preferred; TWO MEN AND A TRUCK or moving industry experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivate, take initiative, develop, and direct people, and be accountable.
- Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
