What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Equipment Operations Manager position at Soft Suds Auto Spa?
The Assistant Equipment Operations Manager is responsible for assisting and effectively managing equipment and safety related tasks for the company with the Equipment Operations Manager. They are in charge of overseeing equipment use and supervising correct maintenance procedures for all equipment. The Equipment Operations Manager needs to solve equipment challenges in a timely manner, keep an accurate inventory of spare parts, escalate issues as needed, supervise equipment repairs, and verify their conditions with the business office.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors.
• Ensures a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations set forth by the company.
• Attend and participate in all work related meetings, scheduled inventories and training classes.
• Must be able to occasionally transport up to 80 lbs.
• Climbing and working on a ladder.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder.
• Performs regular inspections of all locations and reports the condition of equipment and property, as well as maintenance status.
• Performs preventative maintenance service, emergency repair and cosmetic repair on location equipment and property.
• Respond to issues at the location which affect overall operation of equipment or the facility
• Work individually as well as in a team to troubleshoot and repair various equipment at all locations
• Communicate issues and provide feedback to the Business Office regarding maintenance issues, facility/equipment opportunities and outside service vendor performance.
• Operate of a company assigned vehicle in safe and responsible manner if applicable.
• Utilize maintenance work order forms according to company policies and procedures. Complete assigned work by required deadline.
