Bartender / Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Bartender / Server to join our team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service. Exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers to provide an enjoyable experience, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize Toast system for order entry and payment processing.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food offerings, to assist guests effectively.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper handling of all food items.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist with banquet events and catering services as needed, showcasing versatility in various settings.
• Uphold cleanliness standards by regularly cleaning the bar area, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous bartending and serving experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast system is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Experience in food service, including knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
• A background in hospitality or the food industry is highly desirable.
