Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure top-tier service delivery.
- Must be available to work day or evening shift as well as weekends and holidays and be able to serve and bartend.
- Manage daily operations across all departments, including food preparation, kitchen management, front-of-house service, and bar operations.
- Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment.
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure consistent availability of quality ingredients.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Implement staff scheduling to optimize shift coverage while controlling labor costs in line with budget goals.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Conduct regular staff training sessions on food handling, culinary techniques, customer service excellence, and safety procedures.
- Manage budgets, analyze sales data, and develop strategies to increase revenue while reducing waste.
- Support catering events or banquet services as needed to expand the restaurant’s offerings and reach new clientele.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment; casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management; culinary experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling expertise required.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety standards, and food production processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training & development; supervising teams effectively is essential.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles including budgeting, shift management, and customer service strategies.
- Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within the food industry is preferred.
