Dietary Aide PART-TIME -Every other weekend
Twinbrook Healthare & Rehabilitation Center is a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team and help ensure our residents receive nutritious and well-balanced meals.
Dietary Aide Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
- Follow dietary guidelines and menu plans provided by the Dietary Manager or Dietitian
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment after meals
- Assist with meal tray assembly and delivery to residents’ rooms or dining areas
- Respond to residents' dietary needs and preferences while adhering to prescribed diets
- Maintain a positive, friendly attitude while interacting with residents, staff, and visitors
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager
Dietary Aide Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dietary/kitchen setting, particularly in a healthcare or senior living environment, is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
