Job Overview: The Marketing Co-Manager at Twin Vee PowerCats will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote our brand, products, and services to a diverse customer base. The role involves leading the marketing department, driving demand generation, managing digital and traditional marketing efforts, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the company's growth objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional and digital marketing, with experience in the boating, marine, or manufacturing industries preferred. Candidates must be skilled in graphic design.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and drive sales for our range of boats and related products.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Oversee and refine the company’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
- Align marketing objectives with sales and business growth goals.
2. Digital Marketing & Online Presence:
- Manage and enhance the company's online presence, including website, social media channels, email campaigns, and digital advertising.
- Oversee SEO/SEM, content creation, and digital advertising campaigns to maximize customer acquisition and engagement.
- Drive e-commerce growth and improve online lead generation strategies.
- Utilize analytics to track performance and ROI, adjusting campaigns as needed.
3. Traditional Marketing & Events:
- Coordinate print advertising, trade show presence, sponsorships, and other traditional marketing efforts.
- Plan and execute industry-specific events, boat shows, dealer events, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team on dealer and distributor marketing programs.
4. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of marketing professionals to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, sales, product development, and customer service teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns.
- Communicate and work closely with external agencies, designers, and vendors to execute marketing projects effectively.
5. Brand Management:
- Ensure the consistent messaging and positioning of the brand across all marketing materials, both online and offline.
- Monitor brand performance and customer perception through regular feedback and research.
- Protect the company’s brand reputation and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, journalists, and other stakeholders.
6. Budgeting & Reporting:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to the most effective marketing channels and initiatives.
- Track marketing expenditures and ensure cost-efficiency while meeting goals.
- Provide regular reports on campaign performance, sales leads, ROI, and market trends to senior management.
7. Product Launches & Promotions:
- Oversee the launch of new boat models and related products, ensuring successful go-to-market strategies.
- Develop promotional strategies and campaigns that resonate with target customers, enhancing both short-term sales and long-term brand loyalty.
8. Customer Insights & Market Intelligence:
- Gather customer feedback, monitor industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Analyze customer behavior and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies.
- Lead the creation of customer personas and tailor messaging to different segments, including recreational boaters, commercial buyers, and international markets.
Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s
degree preferred).
Experience:
o Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the boating, marine, or manufacturing industries.
o Proven experience in developing and executing digital marketing strategies and traditional marketing campaigns.
o Strong track record of managing cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership.
o Experience in brand development, product marketing, and managing budgets.
Skills & Competencies:
o Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, social media, Google Analytics, etc.).
o Proficient in marketing automation software (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
o Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
o Ability to think creatively and strategically while managing detailed execution.
o Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
o Knowledge of boat manufacturing processes, products, and industry trends is highly desirable.
o Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Work Environment:
1) The Marketing Director will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with a cross-functional team.
