Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an Autonomous Systems Engineer located in Fort Pierce, FL. In this role, the engineer will focus on designing, developing, and integrating autonomous systems specifically tailored for marine applications. Responsibilities include developing and testing robotics and software systems, implementing autonomous vehicle functionalities, and optimizing systems through data analysis. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards will also be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles development
- Strong background in Systems Engineering and integration
- Proficiency in Software Development, with expertise in programming languages relevant to autonomous systems
- Knowledge and skills in Data Science for analyzing and improving system performance
- Problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to system design
- Proven team collaboration and communication skills
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Background in marine systems or experience in maritime technology is a plus
