Elementary School Principal

Twin Valley Unified School District is seeking a leader for its beloved Twin Valley Elementary School who will bring collaboration to our experienced staff and the joy of learning to our 170 students. This is a world-class opportunity for any high-performing candidate, as TVES is a high-performing academic school that was recently ranked in the highest-performing cohort by the Vermont Agency of Education. The school has a professional community of teachers and support staff who are committed to their students. The TVUUSD school board provides excellent support to ensure the school can focus on education, not resources. This includes all areas of child learning, with commitments to a five-day-a-week pre-K program, K–5 staff solely focused on academic improvement, and brand-new playground and athletic fields. The candidate would benefit from collaboration and support from our high school principal and two other elementary school principals in the district, along with a hands-on curriculum director and an academic coordinator. TVES is part of a strong Central Office. TVES is nestled in the Deerfield Valley of southern Vermont, with immediate access to incredible outdoor activities such as watersports on Harriman Reservoir and snowsports on many local mountains. Our students benefit from this location as well, with many programs embedded in our curriculum that allow for outdoor activities in the Vermont landscape during the school day.

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
