What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Helper position at Twin State Flooring?
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to join our flooring store team. This is a physically active role can be part time to allow for a flexible schedule that could turn into full time potential if both parties are interested.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Heavy Lifting: Regularly lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. (bundles of flooring, tile, etc.).
- Rug & Remnant Handling: Moving and hanging heavy area rugs and organizing carpet remnants.
- Showroom & Warehouse Care: Keeping the shop clean, swept, and organized.
- Customer Loading: Helping customers load heavy orders into their vehicles.
- Deliveries/Runs: Using a company or personal vehicle for small local deliveries or picking up supplies.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record.
- Physical Strength: Ability to handle heavy lifting and stay on your feet.
- Reliability: Someone who is punctual and ready to work.
- Friendly Attitude: Professional when interacting with our customers.
