What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Living Area Manager position at Twin Rivers Developmental Supports, Inc.?
Twin Rivers Developmental Supports, Inc. currently has a position opening for a Community Living Area Manager within our residential program.
This is a full-time salaried supervisory position with core hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday taking on call every other weekend.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Supervision and evaluation of direct support professionals in the residential program.
· Supervision of individuals receiving residential services.
· Responsible for residential program scheduling including covering shifts, as necessary.
· Available by phone for back up, fill-in and crisis.
· Assumes supervisory coverage for all locations when other Community Living Managers are off duty.
· Conduct Interviews and make recommendations for hiring and terminations.
· Training of all residential program employees.
· Verification and completion of departmental time sheets.
· Attend individual PCSP meetings as required.
· Follow and implement all agency policies.
· Oversee residential expenditures, assure they comply and are within budget.
· Ensure all residential documentation is completed in a timely manner.
· Maintain a safe living environment in accordance with all required regulations.
· Assure completion of all tasks necessary in the daily operation of the community living program.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of an associate degree (Prior experience may be considered as a substitute for a degree). One to two years prior experience working in the field of developmental disabilities.
CRC, MVR, ANE, KDHE, SOR and Medicaid fraud checks are completed on all employees. Drug testing is conducted pre-employment and randomly.
