Concrete Inspector ACI/NICET/ICC

Twin Peaks, Inc., a leader in Special Inspections and Material Testing services in the tri-state area, is actively seeking Concrete Field Inspectors—from entry-level to advanced technicians—to join our team in New York City.

Key Responsibilities (depending on qualification and certification level):

• Conduct concrete field inspections at construction sites
• Perform slump, air content, and strength tests for concrete
• Utilize specialized techniques, including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Coring
• Prepare detailed, accurate concrete inspection reports
• Coordinate inspections with project drawings and specifications
• Support supervisors with additional field-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certifications (one or more preferred):
• ACI Grade 1, Aggregate, Strength
• CCSI Associate, CCSI (ACI Grade 2)
• NICET Concrete Level 1, Concrete Level 2
• ICC Reinforced Concrete, Prestressed Concrete
• Experience with GPR and Coring (preferred but not mandatory)
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
• General understanding or willingness to learn NYC and NYS construction codes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Adobe
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
