Are you ACI-certified and experienced in concrete testing? Looking for a hands-on role in the field with opportunities for career growth in Construction or Civil Engineering? Cole Technologies Group is looking for a Field Concrete Technician to join our team!
What You’ll Do:
- Perform field testing of concrete, aggregates, mortar, grout, and soils according to ASTM and project specifications.
- Collect, demold, and handle concrete samples in the field.
- Record accurate test results and maintain field documentation.
- Calibrate field equipment and report any issues to the Lab Manager.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on-site.
- Communicate clearly with project teams and report results efficiently.
Required ACI Certifications:
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I
- ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret ASTM standards and project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field.
- Professional and personable communication skills.
- 1–2 years of field or lab experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I
- ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
- OSHA 10-hour Certification. (Preferred)
- NICET or ICC Soils certification preferred. (Preferred)
