An industry leader in metal manufacturing is hiring an experienced purchasing coordinator in Blaine! This purchasing position offers up to $32/hour plus great benefits.

Location: Blaine, MN

Pay: $23 - $32/hr.

Hours: 6 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, with overtime on Fridays

Duties of the purchasing coordinator / purchasing specialist:

Identify overstock and unnecessary materials and recoup cost / recycle material
Source available sources to mitigate job and purchase costing
Raw materials expedition and prioritization
Maintain inventory
Issue purchase orders
Ensure on time delivery of product to internal and external customers
Update accurate pricing in ERP
Notify management of any potential supply deficits, delays, or discrepancies
Perform material planning requirements with sales and estimation team

Requirements of the purchasing coordinator / purchasing specialist:

Previous experience in purchasing required
