Operations Supervisor

Twin City Staffing is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced welding and metal fabrication environment. This role oversees production activities, ensures high-quality output, and provides leadership to a team of skilled welders and fabricators.

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Wage: $90,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience)

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 AM – 3:30 PM (with occasional Fridays)

Duties

· Lead, train, and support welding and fabrication teams

· Oversee daily production to meet schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements

· Ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of fabrication and welding equipment

· Conduct daily meetings to communicate goals and priorities

· Enforce company safety policies and OSHA guidelines; perform safety audits as needed

· Identify and implement process improvements, including Lean and 5S practices

· Partner with quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and optimize workflow

· Monitor labor, equipment performance, and material usage

· Complete daily production reports and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications

· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred (experience also considered)

· 5 years of experience in metal fabrication or welding operations

· 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

· Strong understanding of MIG/TIG welding, CNC fabrication, and blueprint reading

· Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

· Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

· Experience with Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
