Unarmed Corporate Security Officer

Twin City Security is seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Corporate Security Officer for a permanent assignment at a high-profile corporate facility. This position requires strong situational awareness, professional communication, sound judgment, and the ability to complete clear and accurate written reports.

This is a highly visible assignment. The selected officer must be comfortable interacting professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, client representatives, and members of the public while maintaining a calm and confident security presence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the property
• Conduct and document hourly exterior and parking-lot patrols
• Complete all designated electronic patrol checkpoints
• Observe and report suspicious persons, vehicles, trespassing, theft, vandalism, and other unusual activity
• Identify and report safety hazards, property damage, lighting problems, water leaks, unsecured areas, and other property concerns
• Respond appropriately to incidents and contact supervisors, client representatives, law enforcement, or emergency services when necessary
• Use verbal de-escalation and sound judgment when addressing unauthorized activity
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, photographs, and patrol documentation
• Safely operate a company-provided patrol vehicle
• Carry and promptly answer the site security phone
• Use mobile applications for timekeeping, patrol tracking, and security reporting
• Follow all Twin City Security and client-specific post orders

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Active Texas DPS Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer registration
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Prior professional security experience
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and grammatically understandable security reports
• Ability to use a smartphone and mobile reporting applications
• Professional appearance, grooming, and communication
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to perform regular foot patrols and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate, industrial, executive, concierge, or other client-facing security experience
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
• Experience operating a company or marked patrol vehicle
• Experience using electronic guard-tour and incident-reporting systems
• Demonstrated customer-service and verbal de-escalation skills

Selection Process

Qualified applicants may be asked to participate in:

• A site-specific written assessment covering reading comprehension, report writing, post-order comprehension, and common security situations
• An internal management interview
• A potential final interview with the client

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
