Part-Time Weekend Security Officer – Construction Sites & Fire Watch

Job Type: Part-time
Twin City Security is hiring reliable security officers for weekend coverage at construction sites, access control accounts, and fire watch operations throughout the Fort Worth metro area.
This is a good fit for someone with a weekday security job who wants additional income, or someone between jobs who can consistently commit to weekends. Additional weekday shifts may be available.
Schedule and Locations
- Consistent weekend availability is required.
- Shift times vary by account.
- Opportunities to pick up weekday shifts based on availability and staffing needs.
- You may work at multiple accounts initially before settling into a more consistent assignment. A permanent location is not guaranteed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an alert and visible security presence.
- Conduct foot patrols as required by site instructions.
- Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, property damage, and safety hazards.
- Perform assigned fire watch duties according to site procedures.
- Document patrols and incidents and communicate with dispatch.
- Report on time and fulfill all accepted shifts.
Work Environment
These assignments take place at construction sites and other properties that may lack indoor shelter. You must have a reliable personal vehicle that you can keep at the site and use for shelter between patrols.
This is not a sit-in-your-car-only position. Officers must complete required patrols, remain awake and attentive throughout the shift, and work outdoors as needed.
Requirements
- Reliable weekend availability.
- Dependable personal vehicle and willingness to travel to accounts throughout the Dallas metro area.
- Ability to walk construction sites, including uneven surfaces.
- Smartphone for scheduling, communication, and reporting.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete accurate reports.
- Professional appearance, good judgment, and dependable attendance.
Previous security, construction site security, or fire watch experience is preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
