Restoration Manager – Water, Fire & Mold (IICRC Preferred)

$32 – $36 per hour depending on experience and certifications

Position Overview

Twin Cities Finest is seeking an experienced restoration professional to lead and manage projects involving water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and fire/smoke restoration throughout the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metro area.

This role will serve as the primary field leader for restoration operations, overseeing projects from initial assessment through completion. The Restoration Manager will combine hands-on field leadership with responsibility for training technicians, coordinating jobs, and ensuring all work meets professional restoration standards.

The ideal candidate has strong experience across water mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke restoration, along with proven leadership in restoration project environments.

Candidates with previous experience working for restoration companies such as SERVPRO, ServiceMaster Restore, Paul Davis Restoration, Rainbow Restoration, PuroClean, or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is not an entry-level position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage restoration projects involving water damage, mold remediation, and fire/smoke cleanup from start to finish
  • Lead water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke restoration work
  • Set up containment systems and negative air environments when required
  • Operate and oversee mitigation equipment including air movers, LGR dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers, and moisture meters
  • Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials as needed for mitigation and restoration
  • Document job progress including moisture readings, photos, and written reports
  • Train and supervise restoration technicians
  • Coordinate job schedules, crews, and equipment across multiple projects
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards including IICRC S500, S520, and S740 guidelines
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and project stakeholders
  • Maintain equipment and ensure tools and vehicles are properly used and maintained

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of restoration experience including water mitigation, mold remediation, or fire/smoke cleanup
  • Experience leading restoration projects or supervising field technicians
  • Strong understanding of structural drying and mitigation procedures
  • Ability to operate restoration equipment and document projects
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift fifty pounds and work in crawlspaces, basements, and confined areas

Preferred Certifications

We welcome applicants with IICRC certifications including:

  • IICRC WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician
  • IICRC AMRT – Applied Microbial Remediation Technician
  • IICRC ASD – Applied Structural Drying
  • IICRC FSRT – Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician

Candidates with strong field experience who are working toward certification may also be considered.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Expected pay range approximately $32 – $36 per hour depending on experience and certifications
  • Performance bonuses based on project performance and quality
