How You’ll Make a Difference
- Be the first point of contact for patients and families, offering a warm and professional welcome.
- Answer phone calls with empathy and efficiency, helping patients feel heard and supported.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to keep things running smoothly.
- Verify insurance and collect payments with accuracy and transparency.
- Support registration and check-in processes, ensuring patients feel prepared and informed.
- Keep electronic health records updated and organized.
- Maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming front desk environment.
- Assist with billing and claims when needed.
- Help resolve patient questions or concerns in a respectful and timely manner.
- Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
Who You Are
- A compassionate communicator who enjoys helping others.
- Skilled at juggling multiple tasks without losing focus or friendliness.
- Comfortable working with children and families under stress or uncertainty.
- Technically savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
- Experienced in customer service or medical/dental office reception (minimum 1 year required).
- Familiar with medical or dental terminology (preferred).
- Committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year in a customer-facing role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic understanding of insurance, billing, and front-office procedures.
