Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, reliable and dependable person to join our Dental Administration team. As a Patient Coordinator and Front Desk Administrative Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and business partners, providing exceptional customer support while effectively managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in office management, attention to details, ability to learn and follow tasks procedures and processes, excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize work duties, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Wage
- $ $18.00/hourly
Responsibilities
- Greet and check patients in as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming experience.
- Manage patient calendar appointments, schedule meetings and coordinate with staff and/or management as necessary.
- Process patient pre-treatment estimates.
- Verify insurance coverage, eligibility and benefits.
- Calculate and collect patient copay, deductible, co-insurance and fees for non-covered services.
- Prepare and submit prior authorization claims to insurance companies.
- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Provide customer support by addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and caring manner.
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk and lobby area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements
- Must be able to work Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6: 00 PM; all employees are required to arrive at the clinic by 8:45 AM daily.
- No experience required We will train the right candidate.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in learning and using various computer systems and office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate phone systems effectively and maintain professionalism at all times.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service to patients, business partners, insurance companies and visitors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
