Inverter Design Architect- High Voltage Power Generation

Position: Inverter Architect

This position will lead the development of a high voltage, high power inverter capable of scaling to MW power levels. Design will address both AC to DC and DC to AC power conversion centered around 480V 3 phase power output. Qualified candidate will have led the design for multiple inverter designs including solutions beyond 400V and 100kW and is proficient in advanced power conversion design including multi-level and SiC technologies. Core design skills include device and circuit level simulation and system simulation for electrical, thermal, and control strategies. A strong working knowledge for functional safety and related standards is required. Opportunity as dual role for architect/engineering director with additional salary.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
