Salary: $96,000-$105,000 Benefits Bonus Opportunities

Major Gifts Officer (Hybrid, 4-Day Workweek) Description
Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization, is looking for a dedicated Major Gifts Officer to help build and grow their major donor program. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with major gifts experience who’s ready to take on a more strategic, relationship-driven role. In this position, you’ll spend about half your time deepening relationships with current donors and the other half cultivating new prospects, primarily individuals. You’ll work closely with leadership on donor strategy and engagement, helping to shape a more personalized and impactful giving experience. This role offers a Monday–Thursday schedule (10-hour days) with Fridays off (or as needed) and requires just one day per week in the office — the rest can be remote. Major Gifts Officer (Hybrid, 4-Day Workweek) Responsibilities
• Research, nurture, and grow a portfolio of donors with the capacity to make major gifts
• Meet outreach, visit, and revenue goals set by the Senior Director of Development
• Develop and implement strategies for cultivating, soliciting, and retaining donors
• Solicit major gifts directly
• Support leadership with strategy, briefings, and donor communications
• Serve as a trusted advisor to major gift prospects
• Create a strong donor experience through personalized outreach, proposals, and timely acknowledgements
• Mentor and oversee Major Gift Specialist(s) as needed
• Set and manage budget goals that align with organizational fundraising targets
• Maintain accurate donor records
• Track activity and metrics in the donor management system
• Travel to visit donors throughout the region/country as needed
Major Gifts Officer (Hybrid, 4-Day Workweek) Qualifications
• 5 years experience in non-profit development required
• 3 years of major gifts experience required
• CRM Donor Database Management Software experience required
• Ability to work in the office 1 day each week required
