Automation Engineer - Electrical & Controls
Location: Northeastern Texas (about 2.5 hours from Dallas-Fort Worth Area)
Base Salary: $110,000-$135,000 (DOE) Monthly Incentives (Typically, 3% of Base; Goes up to 10%)

Typical Hours: M-F, 7 AM – 4 PM (some flexibility)

Automation Engineer - Electrical & Controls (industrial automation exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs
• Lead projects, including scope, budget, and execution
• Specify, set up, and troubleshoot VFDs, DC drives, and motor control centers
• Develop and support preventative maintenance programs
• Perform root-cause analysis of electrical downtime using diagnostic tools
• Ensure compliance with arc flash, coordination studies, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 70B
• Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA systems, MES interfaces, and data historians
• Travel up to 10% (domestic) to evaluate new equipment needs
• Assist with after-hours technical support as needed
• Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
Automation Engineer - Electrical & Controls (industrial automation exp. req.) Qualifications
• 4 years of electrical engineering experience required
• Strong background managing industrial automation projects required
• PLC programming experience required
• Relocation required to Northeastern Texas
