Assistant Manager Description

In this role, you will serve as the Manager’s right hand, helping run day-to-day store operations, lead the team on the floor, and keep standards high across departments. Assistant Manager Responsibilities
• Coach team members and hold performance standards
• Support scheduling, staffing, and daily floor coverage
• Assist functional areas as needed to keep the store running
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance standards
• Help train new hires and support ongoing team development
• Coordinate with department leaders to keep work flowing
• Support inventory control, pricing, and merchandising standards
• Address team issues with clear follow-through and documentation
• Help drive guest service, morale, and day-to-day accountability
• Lead store operations in the Manager’s absence
Assistant Manager Qualifications
• 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience required
• Experience leading others in retail, hospitality, or customer service required
• Ability to coach, document issues, and enforce standards required
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel (enter data in spreadsheets) required
• Schedule flexibility to work weekends, some holidays, and open/close shifts required
