Our client is an early-stage B2B SaaS organization building innovative software solutions for modern businesses. With strong early customer traction and a growing market opportunity, the company is seeking a Founding Account Executive to help establish and scale its sales function.
This is a unique opportunity to join as one of the first commercial hires, take ownership of revenue generation from the outset, and play a key role in shaping the company's go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate is a builder who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys creating processes, systems, and best practices from the ground up.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closed-won business.
- Generate and manage your own pipeline through outbound and inbound sales activities.
- Help define and refine the ideal customer profile, messaging strategy, qualification criteria, and sales process.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of sales tools, workflows, and operational processes.
- Partner closely with company leadership and cross-functional teams to provide customer insights and market feedback.
- Influence go-to-market strategy through direct engagement with prospective and existing customers.
- Establish a scalable sales foundation to support future team growth and expansion.
- 2–4 years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Experience operating in high-growth, early-stage, or entrepreneurial environments preferred.
- Ability to work independently with limited structure and a high degree of ownership.
- Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and storytelling abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented approach.
- Comfortable working on-site in San Francisco, California.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $130,000–$170,000 (50/50 base and variable compensation structure).
