Role Summary
Our client, a global workforce solutions provider, is seeking an Engineering Account Executive to drive business development within the oil & gas and chemical manufacturing engineering sectors. This role focuses on delivering engineering services and workforce solutions through a consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach.
The position involves engaging engineering leaders and decision-makers to identify challenges and deliver tailored solutions, including project-based engagements and staffing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow business within the oil & gas and chemical manufacturing engineering verticals
- Sell engineering solutions, including project-based (SOW) services and staffing solutions (contract, temp-to-hire, and direct hire)
- Initiate and lead meetings with prospective and existing engineering stakeholders experiencing or anticipating growth
- Use market data, research, and industry insights to position solutions and establish strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with executives, engineering directors, and hiring managers
- Evaluate and qualify opportunities to secure new business and expand client partnerships
- Collaborate with specialized engineering recruiting teams to deliver integrated workforce solutions
- Maintain strong sales discipline, activity levels, and revenue performance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business-to-business engineering services sales, preferably within oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, or related industries
- Proven experience in OEM, aerospace, or medical device engineering staffing sales is required
- Demonstrated consultative and strategic sales capabilities
- Proven ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to align solutions to client needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience working with engineering organizations or technical stakeholders
- Interest in solving complex engineering workforce and project challenges
Compensation & Work Model
- Base salary range: $73,875 – $100,000 annually, with variation based on experience and geographic location
