SUMMARY
The Concierge/ Receptionist is responsible for a answering the telephone, greeting visitors and other Administrative Support duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Adheres to and conveys the philosophy of Assisted Living
* Has awareness and practices in accordance with the regulations of the state.
* Answers the main phone in a courteous and professional manner
* Transfers calls to appropriate persons/ departments
* Take accurate messages
* Greets visitors in a professional and friendly manner
* Assist in coordinating the resident’s move in to the community.
* Monitors the Walkie Talkie
* Monitors Security System and Fire Panel as needed.
* Responsible for monitoring resident and visitor sign in and out log
* Fills out work orders as requested by staff, residents, families and visitors
* Marketing duties as assigned, such as tours, calls and fairs.
* Keeps front desk and lobby clean and neat at all times
* Sells meal tickets and postage stamp and accounts for money
* Assist Residents in coordinating van schedule for appointments and trips
* Performs supportive office functions for all departments including filing, typing and making copies.
* Responsible for establishing and keeping a good working relation with all residents, families, visitors, vendors and outside agencies.
* Communicates with outside health care professionals.
* Practices good infection control and universal precautions
* Assist with new admissions into the community
* Observes and communicates any changes in resident physical or mental condition.
* Reviews and completes new policies and procedures as appropriate.
* Assist with training of new team members in their department
* Avoids loss, breakage and waste of supplies and equipment.
* Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for residents, team members and visitors.
* Knows and follows Emergency Procedures, Elopement and all other procedures.
* Performs all other duties assigned by Administrator.
* Must attend and/or complete all assigned training to meet DSS regulations
* Responsible for keeping resident information confidential; respecting resident rights; respecting privacy.
