Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision at our restaurant in Burlingame, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role involving menu development, team leadership, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation. The Executive Chef will manage kitchen operations, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and oversee inventory and cost management. The role also requires mentoring kitchen staff and collaborating with management to ensure a top-tier dining experience aligned with Twelvemonth's ethos of sustainability and creativity.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills in plant-based cuisine and advanced knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Experience with menu development, including creating innovative and sustainable dining options
• Skills in managing kitchen operations, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards
• Proven ability to lead, train, and manage a diverse culinary team
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for sustainability, local sourcing, and creating exceptional guest experiences
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in high-volume, fine-dining, or innovative restaurant environments
