What are the responsibilities and job description for the PART TIME - Patient Care Coordinator position at Twelve Bridges Vision Care?
Seeking professional, personable, friendly, courteous individual with a positive attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills for front desk. Looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in the Optometry field. The front desk's role is critical, since it provides the first impression for patients coming to our office. Being able to respond to patients needs, as well as staff, in a professional and calm manner, is key. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required; knowledge of the optometry industry preferred, but will train.
Duties
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling efficiently.
- Handle medical collections and insurance verification processes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain patients' charts and communicate with outside doctors/medical offices
- Answer phones, Fax, Scan etc.
- Greet patients with a smile and answering their questions
- Ensure a welcoming environment at the front desk while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
The front desk will also be trained in pretesting and rooming patients. Other responsibilities include light cleaning, keeping track of supplies and maintaining office equipment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
