What Success in our Project Manager Role Looks Like at TWC Services Inc.
Oversees a service project team aligned with multiple or mid-sized projects.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Project Scope: Coordinates a team and project resources for small to mid-sized projects from initiation to closeout.Leads projects by making sure the installation team is briefed on the SOW. Starts projects, as necessary, with the installation team. Ensures projects meet current code requirements and are ready for final inspection. Orders permits and meets inspectors for final inspections when necessary.
- Planning: Facilitates project meetings with the project team, clients, and stakeholders to establish goals and objectives.
- Project Outcomes: Responsible for project outcomes including safety, quality, financial, and client satisfaction.
- Financial Acumen: Monitors and manages the financials of multiple projects simultaneously by creating budgets, allocating resources, mitigating risks, and generating revenue.
- Parts: Familiar with equipment and parts and their supply sources. Procures required items, performs necessary follow-up for timely delivery, and advises the proper individual of the arrival of ordered items.
- Estimating: Prepares and assembles estimates within the department.
- Database Management: Maintains database of project history and results. Ensures accuracy and integrity of system software.
- Procedures: Develops conceptual plan and specification bid procedures and standards to improve consistency and efficiency of the estimating process.
- Client Bid Management: Develops successful client relationships, marketing company products and services. Solicits bid schedules from general contractors.
- Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned.
- Job Related Experience: 3-5 years of project management experience in the HVAC industry or Equivalent Experience
- Education: Bachelor's in Engineering or Technical Training Program Completion
