TW Work Solutions is representing an established, private-equity-backed manufacturer and distributor of construction materials in its search for a Controller.
This on-site position reports directly to the CEO and leads a three-person accounting team. The role is open due to the planned retirement of a long-tenured team member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage month-end close and consolidated financial statements
- Reconcile inventory subledgers to the general ledger
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, lender reporting, and covenant compliance
- Coordinate GAAP audits, tax preparation, insurance renewals, and fleet accounting
- Improve ERP reporting, financial controls, dashboards, and processes
- Support acquisitions and integration initiatives
Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive accounting or audit experience
- Strong GAAP audit, forecasting, and financial-reporting background
- Experience with inventory accounting and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Ability to lead and support a small accounting team
- Manufacturing, distribution, or construction-materials experience preferred
- CPA, public accounting, private-equity, or M&A experience preferred
