INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a storyteller who loves connecting people through clear and engaging communication? Join our team as an Internal Communications Specialist and help inform, engage, and inspire employees across the Americas.
In this fast-paced, creative role, you’ll craft and manage internal communications across multiple channels, support company-wide initiatives, and help shape our communication strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Craft engaging internal messages, announcements, and updates distributed through various channels, including email, newsletters, digital screens, and the intranet (Drupal CMS), using marketing automation tools.
Manage, maintain, and update content on internal websites and the company intranet to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Support executive communications by drafting speeches, creating town hall messaging, and developing presentations.
Promote internal initiatives such as company events, recognition programs, and culture-building activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure consistent brand voice and tone across all internal communications.
Assist in the development of crisis and change communication plans during organizational transitions or restructuring.
Collaborate closely with HR, Marketing, and Leadership teams to align internal messaging with business goals.
Collect and analyze employee feedback from surveys to refine and enhance communication strategies.
Track and report on communication effectiveness through engagement metrics and data insights.
Continuously seek creative ways to enhance the employee experience through storytelling and interactive, multi-channel communication strategies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in internal communications, digital marketing, content creation, or content management.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse employee groups.
Proficiency with:
Content Management Systems (CMS)
Marketing automation platforms (e.g., Selligent or similar) for email scheduling and execution
Basic HTML for managing digital content
Visual communication tools such as Canva and PowerPoint (Adobe Photoshop is a plus)
Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Solid understanding of design principles including layout, branding, and visual storytelling.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English required; Spanish language skills are a plus.
International experience or exposure to multi-country regions (e.g., Canada, Mexico, Brazil) is a plus.
