This role requires experience with multi-unit locations and franchise operations, as well as strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will not only maintain accurate financial records but also help identify efficiencies, budgeting, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to manage financial records across multiple Tutu School locations. This role requires experience with multi-unit locations and franchise operations, as well as strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will not only maintain accurate financial records but also help identify efficiencies, budgeting, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage bookkeeping for 11 Tutu School locations using QuickBooks Online
- Record and reconcile financial transactions including revenue, expenses, and bank accounts
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities and locations
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and summaries for leadership
- Ensure consistency and organization across financial records for all locations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial or operational improvements
- Support budgeting and financial planning as needed
- Coordinate with internal team members as needed
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Submit payroll reports and documentation in a timely manner
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Experience managing bookkeeping for multi-unit businesses (required)
- Experience in franchising (required)
- Strong understanding of general bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple entities and maintain clear financial records
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial reporting tools
- Remote position (candidates must be located in California, New York, Connecticut, Minnesota or Iowa)
- Approximately 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling
- Hourly rate of $25$30 based on experience
