What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Supervisor position at Tutto Tavola?
New restaurant opening in Riverview area. We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a busy bar and restaurant with exposure to supervisory or management duties. Knowledge of wine is a plus and a desire to provide excellent service to our customers is mandatory.
The Bar Supervisor will help create and maintain the bar program at our new establishment opening soon. We are looking to add bright and ambitious minds with the desire to learn and grow.
Position will include working bar shifts. Pay stated does not include tips.
Responsibilities
- Work with the GM and Owners to direct all activities of the bar team
- Conduct inventory to ensure all alcoholic beverages are properly accounted for
- Maintain high standards of beverage quality, service and staff training to maximize margins through excellent customer service
· Develop creative drink menus and ensure all beverages are prepared according to established recipes.
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages consistent with our standardized drink recipes
- Learn and understand our menu by pairing drinks and wines with the food options that are offered
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations and adheres to all health department sanitation requirements
Skills
- Required: at least 1 years of bartending experience in a high volume, fast past setting
- Knowledge of bar inventory is a plus
- Product & cocktail knowledge is a must
- Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate

Pay: $450.00 - $650.00 per week
