Details:
- In-Person Tutoring in Bloomington, CA
- Schedule: 25 hours, 5x a week 1hr a day
- Pay range is between $25 and $35
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to deliver clear, bilingual instruction.
- Experienced in working with students with severe Autism or significant behavioral needs.
- Skilled in foundational literacy and math instruction at the early elementary level.
- Knowledgeable in Special Education, ABA principles, or behavior management strategies.
- Patient, calm, and creative, with the ability to adapt to challenging behaviors and maintain a supportive learning environment.
- Preferred: Degree or credential in Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Deliver bilingual instruction (English and Spanish) to strengthen foundational literacy and math skills.
- Teach and reinforce reading fluency, comprehension, sight words, and vocabulary development using structured, multisensory methods.
- Support writing development, including sentence formation, grammar, and organization of ideas.
- Provide foundational math instruction, focusing on early number sense, counting, addition, and subtraction.
- Use visual supports, manipulatives, and technology to increase engagement and understanding.
- Implement consistent structure, routines, and positive behavioral supports to promote focus and participation.
- Collaborate with caregivers and service providers to align with the student's IEP goals and behavioral strategies.
- Conduct an initial academic assessment to identify skill levels and inform instructional planning.
- Incorporate the student's interests, such as tablet activities and television, to build motivation and engagement
