Sales Marketer / Community Ambassador

Location: Remote/In-person

Job Type: Part-Time (10-15 hours per week)

Compensation: $17-21 based on experience/skills

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Sales Marketer to join our team at Tutor Doctor. As a Sales Marketer, you will be the face of Tutor Doctor in your local community, responsible for increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and promoting the brand. You will engage with families, students, business owners/professionals and other community members, and utilize effective marketing strategies to communicate the benefits of Tutor Doctor's tutoring services. You will help develop and carry out marketing campaigns both locally and via social media.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement:

Lawn Sign Placement: 

• Assemble & place marketing signs in strategic, high-visibility locations.
• Knock on doors of single family homes to place signs on homeowner’s lawns.

Community Events:

• Prepare for/setup/attend local community and/or networking events
• Collect and manage contact information for potential clients.

Local & Digital Marketing:

• Assist in the development and execution of localized marketing campaigns.
• Post content and respond to ISO tutor inquiries to leverage social media channels.
• Assist with updating content on company's website, Google business and LinkedIn profile.
• Participate in light content creation (e.g. flyers).
• Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and materials.

Goals and Reporting:

• Achieve specific lead generation and conversion targets.
• Maintain accurate records of all community marketing activities.

Qualifications:

• Experience in sales/outbound sales, consumer interaction, customer service, etc.
• English as a first language.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
• Flexible schedule to attend events and engage with the community, as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
