We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Telford, PA.
The Skilled Machinist is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of manual and CNC lathes, mills, and turning centers used in the production of centrifugal pump components. This role requires a highly qualified machinist with a broad skill set across both manual and CNC equipment, capable of producing precision parts to tight tolerances with minimal supervision. The Machinist may also provide guidance to employees at the same or lower classification levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, and turning centers to produce high‐quality pump components
- Perform complex machine setups and necessary hand operations to meet strict quality and dimensional standards
- Machine a wide variety of parts requiring close tolerances
- Read, interpret, and use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PMs) and equipment cleaning to ensure optimal machine performance
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
- Work independently using sound judgment with limited supervision
- May assist in guiding or training machinists at the same or lower grade levels
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of machining experience, including both manual and CNC equipment
- Demonstrated ability to perform difficult setups and precision machining
- Experience working with close tolerances and diverse part configurations
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
- High school diploma or equivalent required
