Position Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of small to mid-sized accounts through proactive outreach, relationship building, and solution-based selling. This role focuses on driving revenue, increasing customer retention, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities within an assigned territory or customer base.


The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage a high volume of accounts efficiently.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of small business accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage customers and drive sales
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, or solutions
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop and execute account plans to grow revenue within existing customers
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into active customers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (pipeline, activities, forecasts)
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and field sales teams to support customer growth
  • Handle customer inquiries, objections, and basic issue resolution in a timely manner
  • Monitor account activity and proactively re-engage inactive or at-risk customers



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of sales, inside sales, or account management experience
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience handling a high volume of accounts or transactions
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management and organizational skills



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to small businesses (SMB segment)
  • Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling approaches
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, etc.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Customer Service Inside Sales Manager
  • Works closely with: Marketing, Customer Service, Field Sales, and Operations



Work Environment

  • Onsite in Telford Office
  • High-volume, fast-paced sales environment
  • Regular use of phone, email, and CRM tools
