Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. This role requires a proactive leader capable of developing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, managing HRIS systems, and guiding senior leadership through complex HR processes. The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in shaping our human capital management practices to support organizational growth and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational design
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and training & development programs to ensure effective integration and continuous growth
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes to maintain a positive work environment
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and other legal requirements
- Administer benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits; oversee benefits administration using systems like Workday or ADP
- Manage recruiting processes from interviewing to hiring
- Conduct data analysis for HR metrics including turnover rates, employee evaluations, and workforce planning to inform strategic decisions
- Coordinate with senior leadership on organizational change management and process improvements
- Oversee payroll processing using systems like Paychex, Kronos, or Paylocity; ensure accurate data collection and reporting for payroll accuracy
- Manage compliance audits related to human resources policies; handle contracts and negotiations related to employment terms
- Facilitate employee evaluation processes and performance reviews to support talent management initiatives
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and HR compliance standards
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, succession planning, and talent management strategies
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts and resolve conflicts effectively
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, UltiPro, Dayforce, Ceridian or equivalent systems like ADP or Paychex
- Excellent communication skills for presenting HR initiatives to senior leadership and engaging employees at all levels
- Skilled in data analysis for HR metrics using tools like Kronos or PeopleSoft; adept at process improvement initiatives
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker with expertise in organizational design, change management, program management, and human capital management principles
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality across all HR functions
