Specialty Type Services

Our doctors love to practice a high level of internal medicine. This means that our hospital has invested in state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment to provide exceptional care. Help us soothe pet allergies with customized immunotherapy, assist in ultrasounds of the abdomen and thoracic cavity, get immediate answers with in-house analyzers and then provide customized treatment with our state-of-the-art anesthesia monitoring set up, digital treatment sheets. Easily keep pet parents up to speed with our cutting-edge technology that automatically saves your correspondence to the patient chart. Forms, estimates and payments are fully digital which means you can spend less time documenting and chasing paper and more time caring for your patients!

Our progressive equipment allows us to have a customized approach to surgical and non-surgical cases. Our suite houses surgical laser, surgical cautery, endoscopy, therapy laser, Phovia light therapy machine and fully stocked pharmacy that features the safest and most up to date pharmaceuticals. Assist our team with customized treatment plans for pets needing blood transfusions, antivenom therapy, chemotherapy or a detailed cardiac workup including an echocardiogram. Observe a wide range of surgical procedures as you monitor anesthesia for a myriad of procedures to include mass removals, amputations, splenectomies, enucleations, other soft tissue surgeries, and orthopedic repairs. Our hospital sees its own emergencies, which allows our team members to navigate emergency & critical care without having to commit to overnights, multiple weekends or driving to the metroplex.

Our team starts the day at 7:15 with hospital rounds and opens the door at 7:30. Our team rotates through 1-hour lunches from the 12-2 time period and ends the day at 5 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Mondays and Thursdays were open until 6 to give pet parents a little more flexibility. Our full-time team members are schedule for 4 open to close shifts a week. This means you get a day of during the week for appointments, errands and all the demands of life!

  • Have patience, compassion and empathy for clients and fellow teammates
  • Proficient knowledge of core wellness practices
  • Proficient in obtaining samples for diagnostic testing (blood, urine, fecal, and IV catheter placement)
  • Proficient knowledge of common laboratory testing and equipment
  • Proficient knowledge of routine diagnostic procedures
  • Proficiency in understanding normal ranges of patient vital signs, including but not limited to heart and respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation.
  • Proficient knowledge of dental and core radiology techniques
  • Proficiency in calculating medical math and medication administration via appropriate routes and duration.
  • Proficiency in inducing, monitoring, and recovering patients undergoing anesthetic procedures, including the use of anesthetic/surgical monitoring equipment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability
  • Proficient in safe and humane animal restraint
  • Must be LVT, or have minimum of 2 years experience as a veterinary technician in a hospital environment or CVA II or higher certification.
