Turtle & Crane Assisted Living is a locally owned residential assisted living community dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care in a warm, home-like environment. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Med Tech (ASSISTANCE WITH MEDICATIONS) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately according to physician orders and Idaho regulations.
• Document medication administration and resident observations accurately.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nurse or administrator.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Mobility and transfers
• Assist with meals and hydration.
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with caregivers, nurses, families, and healthcare providers.
• Perform light housekeeping and other duties as assigned to support resident care.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Assistance with Medications certification (or ability to obtain if permitted)
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely

Preferred:

• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care
• Experience using electronic medication administration records (eMAR)
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills

Schedule

• 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available
• Day, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed
