As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you can utilize many of our on-site amenities when working with your clients, including our warm water therapy pool.

The compensation range for this position is $68,000-$93,000 based on years of experience. We understand our employees have busy lives outside of work and we strive to accommodate to their needs to achieve a good work/life balance. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position with typical working hours of Monday-Thursday, 8 am - 6 pm.

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, your duties would include but are not limited to:

  • Providing quality habilitation and rehabilitation services designed to develop, restore, or improve function
  • Coordinating individualized treatment plans, establishing treatment goals, and re-evaluating often for needed modifications
  • Providing ongoing instruction, education and training to caregivers
  • Assisting with the evaluation, development and/or purchase of adaptive equipment
  • Consulting and communicating with identified service providers
  • Providing detailed documentation in the electronic health records system
  • Working effectively with others as part of our therapy team
  • Providing supervision and training for assistants, aids, and students as needed

A candidate for this position must be able to:

  • Coordinate and prioritize their daily schedule
  • Communicate effectively and properly with clients, families and other employees
  • Respond positively to changing circumstances
  • Work well both individually and as part of a team

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy certification through NBCOT and the state of Indiana
  • Current and maintained certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Experience in pediatrics, including but not limited to fieldwork, internships, work experience in and out of the field, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DMI certification
  • At least 1 year of Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience
