Starting Pay Range: $42,120.00 - $53,703
As a Retail Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly and providing excellent customer service. You'll ensure our inventory is accurate, help with product updates, and support our team with training and scheduling. You’ll be the go-to person for handling customer questions and resolving any issues that arise. By keeping our shoppes well-stocked and neatly organized, you'll help create a great shopping experience for our guests. Plus, you’ll work closely with other departments to keep everything on track and maintain up-to-date records. Your leadership will help our team thrive and our store succeed!
What you will do as a Retail Supervisor:
- Always maintains accurate inventory levels that reflect UPC integrity, price changes and inventory transfers following standard procedures.
- Maintains working knowledge of Retail Operations internal functions, controls and software updates and takes the initiative to convey pertinent information to employees regarding policy, scheduling, or product changes.
- Ensures efficiency and accurate performance standards are met by maintaining communication with all work areas to verify paperwork and inventory controls.
- Consistently demonstrates outstanding guest service skills and assists guests with questions pertaining to handling guest disputes, counterfeit issues, while consistently tracking customer complaints.
- Consistently maintains professional rapport and confidentiality in communicating with other departments as required by procedure (i.e. MIS, Gaming Commission, Security, Credit, Surveillance, Games dept., Nation Police, Payroll, and Marketing).
- Takes responsibility for making sure employees are trained/developed in Retail Operations and monitors business flow to develop efficient training, break and shift schedules.
- Demonstrates an understanding of PAF and administrative procedures and in doing so, accurately tracks and records Loa’s, vacation time, EO's, call-outs, and special requests.
- Is always available to assist Retail employees at designated Retail locations when needed.
- Always makes sure that shoppes are open and closed on a daily basis with appropriate staffing/scheduling.
- Continually oversees all shoppes as supervisor on call maintaining contact with shoppes to oversee operations and any issues that might arise.
- Ensures appropriate stock levels to maximize sales initiating communication with buyer and/or Shoppes Manager, if necessary.
- Demonstrates understanding of merchandising by maintaining a clean, neat store with appropriately classified and displayed product.
- Coordinates product counts and ordering for cigars, cigarettes, candy, chips, and soda.
- Continually evaluates daily sales reports to determine movement of merchandise, accurate reorders and to determine best sellers.
- Promptly responds to information reported on variance reports, following up with Sales Associate and Finance.
- Develops and posts schedules for staff on timely basis.
- Maintains accurate and up to date personnel file, recording all occurrences and taking proper action when necessary.
- Prepares transfer requests and transfer receivers accurately and in a timely manner.

Work Experience
To be successful as a Retail Supervisor, you will need:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- College degree or some level of secondary education preferred.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must possess outstanding guest service skills.
- Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required.
- Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Previous Retail experience required.
- Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds for restocking purposes.
